To the chief Psalmist in heaven
The LORD is God, the Word is His name.
In evidence of His love,
He gives life to the tender reed.
The bruised reed will not be broken.
He meets our enemies even in battle,
to teach us to try and to depend upon Him.
Angels are ready at his command and obey,
To save us should we falter.
Find the way of escape, and avoid temptation,
For the LORD is pleased with all who know He is,
And the righteous will reap great rewards,
If we do not lose heart.
