Trust
Will I, won’t I,
Should I trust?
Perhaps I can,
And it’s a must.
Men and women,
Hear my call.
Dubious honor,
Doesn’t fall.
To trust is earned,
Is what they say,
If that is true,
Why trust today?
Love is sacred,
And if it’s not,
Trust believes,
What Christ forgot.
As an act of mine,
I must believe,
In more than words,
You must receive.
To trust not,
And say you love,
Denies the One,
Who is above.
To Love indeed,
Your fellow man,
Means to lend,
A helping hand.
Trust and love,
Deserves a mend,
With great rewards,
At journey’s end.
Something to Think About
“Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part. But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away.” 1 Corinthians 13:4-10 (NKJV)
