TThere are principles that govern us as human beings. They are inlaid within a person by God, as jewels are fixed to a crown. What I have achieved will never be noticed without the context of our life experiences. If you are an over-achiever, you will believe little in what the world has to say about who you are. If we view ourselves as God sees us, we bring order out of the chaos that would otherwise thwart our attempts at self-discovery. The scriptures say, “Let God be true, but every man be a liar.” Sometimes we just need to realize that even though the world prides itself in age, gender, and role-specific equality, that there is strength in the diversification of God’s design. Read on, and embrace your heart’s cry that is specifically, wonderfully, and uniquely you.
